6 years agoNew England Patriots rookie running back Sony Michel (knee) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Bills on Monday night. Right tackle Marcus Cannon (concussion) was also ruled out. Michel was never expected to play after spraining his MCL in Week 7, but he could return in Week 9 if he continues to heal. Cannon's absence is a downgrade for the team's running game, but it's unlikely to matter against Buffalo, where James White will be an RB1.
