3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Spencer Howard allowed four runs in 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision versus the Nationals on Monday. Howard breezed through three frames, but continued to struggle the second time through the batting order as Washington put up four runs in the fourth inning before Howard was removed from the game. The rookie right-hander has faced 63 batters the first time through the order, he's allowed six hits for a .107 batting average against. Things change with some familiarity, however, as Howard has a 21.60 ERA with a .458 batting average against the second time through the order. With numbers like that Howard may wind up in the bullpen if Philly trades for a starter. He's a must-roster dynasty prospect, but redraft managers can leave Howard on waivers.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
