Spencer Steer Hasn't Missed A Beat With Reds
2 years agoCincinnati Reds infield prospect Spencer Steer stayed hot for Triple-A Louisville with a 3-for-4 performance on Friday. He also drew a walk in the process. Steer was arguably the biggest piece acquired from the Minnesota Twins for starting pitcher Tyler Mahle at the trade deadline and he has impressed with his new squad. Steer was already in the discussion to make the big leagues in 2022 with the Twins and he should have a clear path with the Reds during their rebuild. In 20 games for Louisville, Steer has hit .316 with five doubles, three RBI and 10 RBI. Overall, between Double-A and Triple-A this season, he has hit .278 with 23 homers and 72 RBI. Steer should get a chance down the stretch with the big-league club and he makes for an intriguing pickup in dynasty leagues moving forward.
