2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Strider had a historic game on Thursday, going eight innings, allowing two hits with no runs. He also struck out a franchise record 16 batters. The hurler has racked up the punchouts this season, fanning 174 over 114.2 innings. Strider's been good all around, as he owns a 2.67 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and 9-4 record across 28 games (17 starts).
