2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Spencer Strider turned in another solid outing on Tuesday. The 23-year-old threw 4.2 innings against the New York Mets and allowed five hits, three walks, and a run while striking out eight batters. All told, Strider generated 11 swinging strikes on 103 pitches and posted a 25% CSW rate. In 70.1 innings this season, the right-hander has registered 110 strikeouts compared to just 28 walks. He's also sporting a 2.56 ERA and a 1.82 FIP in those 70.1 innings of work. His next start will come on the road Sunday against the Washington Nationals.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
