7 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said running back Spencer Ware (knee) is expected to be back from his injury but said, "you never know." It's not a ringing endorsement for a player that injured his PCL and MCL last season, and he may be late to training camp. Ware didn't play at all in 2017 and will be strictly a backup to Kareem Hunt in 2018 if he's ready to start the year on time. He did, however, come close to the 1,000-yard mark on 200-plus carries in 2016, but the Chiefs still have Charcandrick West and Akeem Hunt on the roster and they added Damien Williams and Kerwynn Williams in free agency.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
