Starlin Castro Heating Up In The Last Week
3 years agoWashington Nationals infielder Starlin Castro, who got two hits in his first two at-bats with an RBI on Sunday, has been on a 10-for-19 tear over his past seven games. Castro is mainly a backup in mixed leagues because of his limited pop, but he has lifted his slash line this season to .266/.319/.676. He is the type of player that should be ridden while he's hot, and he makes a decent play for next week given his recent hitting and the Nats' seven games on the schedule. The downside is that both upcoming series are in tough ballparks -- at San Diego and at San Francisco.
