Starlin Castro Increases Trade Value on Friday
6 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Starlin Castro went 2-for-5 on Friday with an RBI and a run scored. He's now hitting .297 with five home runs, 32 RBI and four stolen bases over 89 games in 2018. He's one of the few veterans on a young Marlins team and is coming off of an All-Star season, making him a prime trade candidate. If a contender is looking for a utility infielder, then Castro could be their target. On the Marlins, Castro will continue to hit leadoff and see regular playing time, making him a lower-tier middle infielder.
