Starlin Castro On Pace For Best Offensive Season
4 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Starlin Castro has been a staple in the No. 3 spot of his club’s lineup thus far in 2020, having had something of an offensive revival. Through his first 16 games, Castro is on pace to set a new career high with a .797 OPS. The sample size is small, but Castro’s approach to going the opposite way likely has an impact in his increased production; 32.6% of the balls that he has put in play have been to the opposite field, which would be far and away a new career-best rate. While his upside remains capped, Castro has a safe floor for DFS and season-long owners alike.
