7 years agoToday, Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte told reporters that he is dealing with an oblique injury. Marte was removed early from Tuesday's game against the White Sox and is missing from tonight's lineup. Marte said he does not believe the injury will require a stint on the disabled list, which should be reassuring news for fantasy owners. The 29-year-old has had a fantastic start to the season registering a .308 average along with six HR, 19 RBI, and 10 SB. It seems that this issue will not be long-term so there is no need for fantasy owners to look for a replacement.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
