3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Starling Marte (shoulder) did not play in Monday's series opener with the Nationals because he tweaked his shoulder while stealing a base on Sunday, according to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com. Marte's absence from the lineup Monday fanned the flames on trade rumors, as it is heavily speculated that Marte will be moved before the trade deadline.
