3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte is hitting seventh in the batting order for the third straight contest for Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves and right-hander Charlie Morton. Marte was previously hitting second behind Brandon Nimmo. The 33-year-old veteran has a .237 average (22-for-93) with two home runs, 18 RBI, 13 runs scored and four stolen bases in his first 22 games, but a permanent drop to the bottom part of the order would obviously be bad news for Marte's fantasy upside. He has gone 6-for-30 with no home runs and five RBI in his last seven games since April 25. Center fielder Travis Jankowski is hitting leadoff for the Mets in Game 1 on Tuesday against Morton.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
