3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Starling Marte went 2-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored in a loss to the Tigers on Wednesday. The homer was Marte's 10th of the season, but he's more than made up for his lack of power with his baserunning as he leads the Majors with 42 stolen bases. The trade-deadline acquisition has been incredible for Oakland thus far as he's batting .346 with a 142 wRC+ in 30 games in green and gold.
