6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte (abdominal) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Marte crashed into shortstop Erik Gonzalez during Friday's game and suffered an abdominal contusion. Marte has struggled at the plate this season, so maybe some time off will help him. It's unclear how long Marte will be out, but this seems like a minor issue.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
