Starling Marte Removed From Tuesday's Game
2 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Starling Marte (hand) has been removed from Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 33-year-old was hit by a pitch in the right hand during the first inning. Marte did stay in the game, but ultimately came out in the bottom of the second inning. Tyler Naquin replaced Marte in the outfield and could see more playing time, assuming Marte does miss time. The expectation is that Marte is going to need X-rays on his hand. Fantasy managers should get an update on Marte after the contest.
