Starling Marte Suffers Sprained Wrist on Sunday
5 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte (wrist) was removed in the ninth inning in Sunday's game against the Cardinals with a sprained left wrist. Marte made a catch in the top of the ninth inning but bent awkwardly as he came up with the ball, and did not make the plate appearance in the following half inning. The 30-year-old has produced 23 home runs, 82 RBI, 96 runs, 25 stolen bases and a .297 batting average in 2019, making him worth owning in all fantasy formats. Marte is listed as day-to-day but will likely miss some time as the Pirates are out of Playoff contention.
