6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte (oblique) expects to be activated from the disabled list before Saturday's game, according to a report from The Athletic's Rob Biertempfel. Marte has been out of action since May 15, when he strained his right oblique while swinging. Fortunately for fantasy owners, he healed quickly, as Saturday is the first day he's eligible to be activated from the DL. It has not been announced who he'll replace in the starting lineup, though it will come down to the red-hot Austin Meadows and scuffling Gregory Polanco.--Matt Wilkes
