3 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers are fully expected to trade quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason, and the Pittsburgh Steelers could be the ideal fit with Ben Roethlisberger heading off into retirement. Considering the Steelers are currently going with a competition between Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins in 2022, Jimmy G would be an upgrade and is a proven winner (35-16 as the starter for the 49ers, including the playoffs). The 30-year-old excels in a fast-paced, hurry-up offense that dials up a lot of short and intermediate passing routes, and impressive young running back Najee Harris would help take some of the pressure off of Garoppolo. But with questionable decision-making and struggles as a pure drop-back passer, Garoppolo will mostly likely continue to be a low-upside QB2 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
