7 years agoAccording to a report from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to place the franchise tag on running back Le'Veon Bell this offseason. Bell wouldn't be happy if that were to happen, as he told ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler last week that he would retire if the Steelers franchised him in the offseason. Bell, of course, sat out all of this past preseason due to unhappiness stemming from the lack of a long-term contract between him and the team. This could be an interesting development once the offseason begins for Pittsburgh.--Matt T - RotoBaller
