Steelers Likely To Sign Chris Boswell To Long-Term Deal
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers beat reporter Ed Bouchette expects the team and kicker Chris Boswell to agree to a new long-term contract. The team tendered the restricted free agent at a second-round level this offseason and he will play the 2018 season on a one-year, $2.91 million contract. It appears likely that the two sides will hammer out a long-term extension before Boswell becomes an unrestricted free agent. Boswell should see plenty of scoring chances playing with an explosive Steelers offense.
