Steelers Quarterback Job Is Mitch Trubisky's To Lose
2 years agoThe Steelers quarterback battle between Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett seems all but over at this point. Peter King from NBC Sports reported that head coach Mike Tomlin called the job "Mitch's to lose. " While it has been trending in this direction, it seems locked in that Trubisky will begin the season as their starter, especially since Pickett was actually running with the third-team offense behind Mason Rudolph. What's intriguing about Trubisky for fantasy is his rushing upside, as he produced 190+ rushing yards in all four seasons that he started 10 games or more, with a career high of 421 yards in 2018. While he'll be unable to compete with the top players at the position, he will remain a viable option as your second quarterback in superflex or two-quarterback leagues.
