He'll make his first start of 2018 under some unenviable circumstances: on a short week against one of the NFL's better defensive units, the Dallas Cowboys. Washington's offensive scheme has hardly emphasized the pass this season, and with their second-string quarterback at the helm, the pendulum figures to swing even further in the direction of the running game. This Turkey Day showdown has all the makings of an Adrian Peterson matinee, with the Redskins defense being called upon to keep the contest low-scoring.
