6 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs' (ribs) status for Week 9 against the Lions is in more doubt after the team elevated receiver Chad Beebe off the practice squad and onto the active roster on Saturday. Diggs said on Thursday that he expects to play, but he didn't practice this week and is questionable on the injury report. Beebe, the son of former NFL wideout Don Beebe, has drawn praise for his work on the scout team in practices. If Diggs can't play, sources indicate Beebe could play a considerable amount on offense. Beebe's addition doesn't necessarily mean Diggs won't play, but he might be a game-time decision. Even if Diggs does play, it seems likely he'll be at much less than 100 percent, making him more of a risky WR2. Adam Thielen, Laquon Treadwell and tight end Kyle Rudolph would see more targets if Diggs is inactive. Beebe isn't a realistic fantasy pickup at this time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
