7 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (neck) has been cleared to throw and played catch on Monday. Manager Dave Martinez said he doesn't think Strasburg will need long to build back up. The Nats could really use Strasburg at the top of their rotation as they fight to remain relevant in the playoff picture. The big right-hander has been somewhat of a disappointment in 2018 with his 3.90 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 101 strikeouts in 85 1/3 innings. Fantasy owners who have remained patient might be rewarded soon by his return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
