4 years agoWashington Nationals right-handed pitcher Stephen Strasburg will land on the 10-day injured list after departing Friday’s start against the Orioles early due to what has been deemed carpal tunnel neuritis of the right hand. Strasburg had his start to the 2020 year bumped back due to the issue, but he has not looked right across his five innings of work, having allowed eight hits and six runs. The nature of Strasburg’s ailment makes it particularly difficult to determine when he may get back on the mound, but after previously stating that he thought that he could pitch through it, owners may want to check their expectations upon his return.--Jesse Borek
