4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg tossed six scoreless innings and struck out eight batters on Wednesday in a 2-0 loss to the Braves. Strasburg basically did everything for the team in the loss, as he allowed just one hit and two walks to Atlanta, and his double was one of two team hits in the loss, as well as the Nationals' only extra-base hit of the day. It was a great way to kick off his year after a COVID-19 outbreak delayed the start of the team's season. He'll try to get win No. 1 of 2021 in his next scheduled start against the Cardinals.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
