7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder) will head to extended spring training on Wednesday. He is reportedly on his way to Arizona and he could be cleared for a minor league rehab assignment next week. Vogt has been sidelined since spring training due to a right shoulder strain. He will likely need roughly 30 at-bats before he is going to be able to join the Brewers. Vogt is likely going to mostly back up Manny Pina once he's healthy enough to play. Vogt will really only be useful as a second catcher in deep two-catcher formats or in deeper NL-only leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
