Stephen Vogt Making Progress With Shoulder Strain
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder) has been cleared by doctors to start a throwing program, and he will most likely begin the program later this week. Vogt had a decent hitting year last season with Milwaukee, averaging a .254 batting average and eight home runs in 122 at-bats and may split starts with Manny Pina at catcher. There are definitely better catchers to own, though, and unless Vogt goes back to his 2015 season where he hit .261 with 18 home runs and 71 RBIs in 445 at-bats, he will not be worth owning in standard formats.
