7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder) will open the season on the disabled list, according to manager Craig Counsell. Vogt will not be released, and his $3.065 million salary becomes guaranteed. Vogt lost out on the backup job to Manny Pina because of the injury this spring, and the former All-Star with the A's has really seen his value take a free fall in the last year. Vogt could share time in a backup role with Jett Bandy once he's healthy, but he's really only an option in deep two-catcher formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
