7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder) will leave for Arizona on Wednesday in order to take the next step in his rehab process by getting lots of at-bats in extended spring training and continuing his throwing program. Vogt suffered a setback on his shoulder on March 13 and has been out with a shoulder strain since then. The hope is for Vogt to take the next step in his program next week by entering minor league rehab with the Brewers affiliates. Vogt will be nothing more than a backup catcher, but he is definitely one of the better hitting catchers and will provide good fantasy value if Manny Pina goes out with an injury.--Caden Inaba
