Sterling Shepard A Reliable Yet Unexciting Fantasy Option
4 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard has been a favorite target of quarterback Daniel Jones since Shepard returned from a toe injury in Week 7. In that span, Shepard leads the team in targets and has at least six receptions in every game. He should be able to take advantage of a Bengals secondary that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing receivers in the last four weeks. Shepard has a good target share and a good matchup, but the main risk is the Giants jumping out to an early lead and relying on the ground game the rest of the way. Shepard's high target floor makes him a solid-yet-unspectacular start in 12-team fantasy leagues this weekend.
