5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard continued to operate as rookie quarterback Daniel Jones’ safety blanket in Sunday’s win over the Redskins. He hauled in seven passes for 76 yards on his nine targets. However, he was unable to find the end zone. He did also carry the ball once for 23 yards, which shows that the Giants are trying to use him in a variety of ways. Like with tight end Evan Engram, Shepard should continue to have consistent value in season-long leagues, but we won’t know for sure how high that value will go until we see what the offense looks like once Golden Tate gets back on the field next week.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
