3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) looked like someone who is on track to play this week, in the opinion of Newsday's Tom Rock. Obviously, it's still early in the week, so we need to keep an eye on Shepard's progression in practice, but this is a nice step. Rookie Kadarius Toney (quad) is also coming back from his own injury, so his involvement in practice will determine how excited we are about Shepard, but all of the Giants passing options would need to be downgraded if quarterback Mike Glennon is under center in place of Daniel Jones (neck). However, Shepard could be a safety valve for Glennon, which would give him some value in deeper leagues if he's indeed active.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
