4 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard returned from a turf-toe injury on Thursday night against the Eagles with six catches for 59 yards and a touchdown. Shepard hadn't played since Week 2, but he made his return to the lineup felt and added another weapon in the passing game. It surely helped the New York offense after they put up just 112 passing yards last week. Shepard should be added in leagues where he was dropped for those seeking WR help, but he'll draw a tough matchup with Tampa Bay in Week 8. When completely healthy, though, Shepard should be one of quarterback Daniel Jones' top targets. The upside was evident in his first game back.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
