6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Steve Pearce is returning to the lineup on Friday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Pearce is batting third in the order, as he takes over for the injured Mitch Moreland. Pearce has been fantastic ever since he has come over to the Red Sox. He has a .307 average with six home runs and 15 RBI in 75 at-bats with the team. He has been deserving of more appearances but has fallen victim to the depth of the best team in the American League. It seems that the embattled Moreland will just be day-to-day, so Pearce does not project to have much long-term fantasy value for this season. With that in mind, he is definitely worth a play in daily fantasy formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
