6 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Steve Pearce is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox. Pearce sat out on both Thursday and Friday, but is batting third and playing first base against lefty Carlos Rodon on Saturday. Pearce is hitless in his last four games, but has been reliable with the bat throughout most of the season. He's hitting .351/.432/.623 with four home runs and 13 RBI against left-handed pitching this season. Pearce is always worth a look in DFS contests when facing a lefty starter.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
