7 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays placed outfielder Steve Pearce on the disabled list before the second half of their doubleheader on Thursday due to a left oblique strain. Through 21 games this season, Pearce has put up a respectable .270 average with three homers and 13 RBI, but that production can easily be replaced on the waiver wire. Even when healthy, Pearce should only be on rosters that are absolutely depleted in the outfield.
