Steven Duggar Exits With Injury Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Steven Duggar (oblique) exited the game early on Thursday against the New York Mets with a left oblique injury, according to the team. Duggar appeared to grab at his left side after taking a swing against right-hander Carlos Carrasco. Mauricio Dubon entered in place of Duggar and could see more playing time in center field for the Giants if Duggar's injury causes him to miss extended time. The 28-year-old has a league-high four stolen bases, but otherwise he's gotten off to a slow start in 2022, going 7-for-35 with no home runs, four RBI and two runs scored in his first 11 games entering play on Thursday. Oblique injuries are often tricky for hitters, so fantasy managers should expect Duggar to miss a few games, at minimum.
