5 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Steven Duggar (back) was able to take 20 dry swings on Monday, as he slowly progresses in his recovery from tightness in his lower back. It was his first time swinging a back since landing on the 10-day injured list. He was pleased that his back is loosening up, but he is still taking it day by day. Mike Yastrzemski has picked up the pace with solid power numbers with Duggar on the shelf, so it will be interesting to see what the Giants do roster-wise when Duggar is healthy enough to be activated.--Daniel Dobish
