2 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan (foot) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Houston Astros. He exited Friday's game early after fouling a pitch off his left foot. The 24-year-old is slashing .294/.367/.379 with two home runs, 28 RBI, 51 runs scored, and nine stolen bases in 94 games in 2022. Andres Gimenez will head leadoff for Saturday's game, while Will Benson handles centerfield duties with Kwan sidelined. Benson has not collected a hit in eight plate appearances since being called up from Triple-A Columbus on August 1.
