3 years agoTampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos scored his seventh goal of the season in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to Carolina. He was assisted by Mathieu Joseph and Alex Killorn with exactly nine minutes played in the second period. Stammer finished plus-one for the night and produced three shots with two hits in 18:57 of action. The Lightning captain started the month with back-to-back pointless efforts but has now registered three points across two games. He's leading the team with 15 points in 12 games this season. Stamkos is a killer when healthy and hopefully, he can avoid major injuries this season.
