6 years agoBoston Red Sox knuckleballer Steven Wright was magnificent on Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers. In his first start of the season, Wright went seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits and three walks. He also had six strikeouts and received the win in a comfortable 6-0 victory. Wright had been coming out of the bullpen all season long, but a performance like this will give manager Alex Cora a reason to consider putting Wright in the regular rotation. Couple that with Tuesday's news about Drew Pomeranz going on the 10-day disabled list and it seems likely that Wright will have an opportunity to build on his success. It was just two years ago that Wright went 13-6 as a starter en route to his first and only All-Star game appearance. He should now be on the radar of every fantasy manager.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
