4 years agoUFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic published a Tweet on Sunday night with a quote that read, "the time has come." Whether or not that is a precursor for a possible return has yet to be seen, but the statement drew plenty of reaction from around the MMA community, namely from Daniel Cormier and Francis Ngannou. Miocic expressed his unwillingness to fight during the COVID-19 pandemic due to his second career as a first responder and the unavailability of an adequate training facility. The 37-year-old last fought against Cormier back in UFC 241, where he defeated the former Olympic wrestler in a rematch to reclaim the heavyweight belt.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
