3 years agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner gets the start on Thursday night against Elvis Merzlikins and the Columbus Blue Jackets. This presents a good chance for Stuart to get a win and for Edmonton to snap out of its funk. Merzlikins has allowed four or more goals in four of his last five appearances. Meanwhile, Skinner's struggled himself while yielded ten goals in three starts (all losses). One constant for the goaltender is shots faced. Skinner keeps seeing 30+ shots a night which means he will get the work. It comes down to making the saves so Skinner can end that three-game losing streak.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
