6 years agoVancouver Canucks left wing Sven Baertschi (upper body) was unable to return to Wednesday's 3-2 shootout victory against the Vegas Golden Knights due to an upper-body injury. While the Canucks were able to spring the road upset, it was very costly as they also lost Alexander Edler and Christopher Tanev to injuries. Baertschi fired out of the box with two goals and five points over his first five games, but he has just one goal and no assists across the past five. Consider him day to day for now.--Daniel Dobish
