3 years agoDetroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson will have a tough matchup Week 1 against the 49ers. Reports out of training camp have Hockenson primed for a breakout campaign as details have emerged about his immediate chemistry with new quarterback Jared Goff. But Hockenson being a top tight end in fantasy may be stalled a touch out of the gate against a 49ers defense that allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends last season. Defenses change yearly but the 49ers allowed only four touchdowns to the position last season and only one tight end mustered more than 56 receiving yards in a game. Nonetheless, Hockenson is a must-start and could easily lead the team in targets, receptions and yards in Week 1.--Joey C - RotoBaller
