T.J. Hockenson Misses Thursday’s Practice With Toe Injury
4 years agoDetroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson (toe) was held out of practice Thursday due to a toe injury, just a day after logging a full practice. The second-year tight end enters Sunday's game against Washington having hauled in a touchdown reception in four of his last five outings, while also getting the advantage of facing a defense that has been diced up by opposing TE's in 2020. A prime target for Matthew Stafford, should Hockenson be unable to take the field Sunday, Jesse James and Isaac Nauta would likely see increased roles. Hockenson's steady production has made him into one of the highest-priced TE's in the DFS market, and with scarce high-end options during Week 10, his progress throughout the week as he works through his toe ailment is a situation worth monitoring.
