T.J. Watt Placed On COVID-19 List
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was placed on the COVID-19 list on Monday. Watt just returned to action in Week 12 in a blowout loss to the Bengals after missing Week 11 with a hip injury. With Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens coming to town in Week 13, this could be a potentially massive loss for the Steelers' struggling defense. Watt has recorded 12.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries this season, so the Steelers will hope to have him clear protocol in time for Sunday. If Watt is vaccinated, he must register two negative tests in a 24-hour time period to be eligible to play. If he is unvaccinated, he must miss a minimum of 10 days which would knock him out of Sunday's game.
