T.J. Yeldon's Role Could Increase Against Patriots
7 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back T.J. Yeldon could see more opportunities after producing 77 total yards with one touchdown in the Jaguars shocker win over the Steelers. The veteran has been in and out of the lineup all season due to injuries and ineffectiveness but seized his chance last week. With star rookie Leonard Fournette working through an ankle injury, the Jaguars may lean on a running-back-by-committee during specific drives in the game. This bumps up Yeldon's chances of finding the end zone this Sunday, and he will go up against a Patriots defensive front that can be beaten. Yeldon is not a top-five play at running back for championship weekend, but he should see a handful of touches on Sunday.
