4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker earned his first win of the season on Sunday, tossing seven scoreless innings in a 4-0 victory over the Nationals. Walker allowed three hits and three walks with four strikeouts as he recorded his second quality start of the year. It was a good return to form for Walker, who had not been able to complete five innings of work in each of his last two starts against the Phillies and the Cubs. He'll get a rematch with the Phillies in his next projected start, but the following start should be a good matchup for Walker, as he is scheduled to face the Diamondbacks on May 7.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
